Happy Monday!

Yesterday was an off day for me and I couldn't wait for a new day. So, today will be a good one ;) I hope it is for everyone else too :)

So, before the day turned sour yesterday, the kids were playing each in their own bedroom. The next thing I know, I hear Jude's vice coming from the floor. To make a long story short, we have floor vents in our 1960 ranch house and the kids, daddy included, talk to each through them. The conversations can be heard in every room of the house. This will go on for awhile. Ever family has their quirks and oddities, but it's funny to me how family time for a lot of people might be going on a walk, playing a board game, etc... while we VENT! Any who, it's a pretty funny picture to see a grown man on the floor talking to a vent ;)

Rainy Day iPhone Pics & more....

It's a lazy day. It's a rainy lazy day. I love days like this when we stay in our pj's and don't have to leave the house. That's how yesterday was, minus the rain. Jude and I danced and cleaned. Today we did puzzles and made cookies. Well...he's sleeping and I made cookies all by myself. Shhh.... I figured the smell would have woken him up, but he always sleeps good on dark rainy days so I get to have them all to myself! I'm so bored b/c my house is clean and laundry is done. So, I updated my iPhone and downloaded my ipics to my pc. So here are some random, some funny, horribly grainy iPhone pics :) I hope everyone is having a lazy day too!

This was taken in a Lowes shopping cart. Woohoo! Looks like they're having fun.

This says it all...

Ummmm...yeah.

Little brothers are great, aren't they?

And so are little sisters :)

Daddy's Helpers

Bella in haute couture, ie Charlotte Russe (and no, I don't shop there).

Ominous.

Poor Puppy.

That's it! Well...I was ready to get dressed, throw on a cozy warm winter coat and grab a chai tea, but the rain has stopped and the sun is coming out. So, a hoodie it is and a sweet tea. Poor puppy has to go see the vet now.

Firefox.

Don't have, get it! I never realized how slow Internet Explorer is until I downloaded Firefox. It is so much better!
I have abandoned the blog, I know. So much has been going on and well...I just haven't been motivated to blog. The face lift will be ongoing until I decide what I like, until then, enjoy the new links on the sidebar. I would like to try updating them regularly. I have been extremely busy with photo sessions and haven' updated that blog either! So, a little about what's been going on :)

Tristan and I are spending our first weekend away since before we had Isabella and we are so excited! We decided to go to Eureka springs and are staying here. The kids are staying with my grandma in Fayeteville and my dad and brother and sister are going to help. I think this trip is long overdue and Tristan had been good o me lately! He brought me flowers the other day.

Then he sent me a video from his iPhone saying this made him think of me.

Isn't he sweet :) Last week he was installing acoustics at a winery downtown. I went down to visit him and take some shots for his website I'm working on and met the owner. He was such a cool guy and had some amazing photos of his vineyard blown up on the walls. The place was amazing and he even had some small vines outside. He showed us how he made the wine and let us sample some new wine they're making for In the Raw Sushi. It was so good and wasn't even finished! I will say I have a new appreciation for wine. I guess Urban Wineries are a new and upcoming thing so it was pretty cool to see.

That same night Isabella and I went to the Marilyn Ihloff hair show downtown. It was a fundraiser for Resonance for women. My 17 year old sister, Sarah was modeling in the show. They had a 1950's, 1960's, 70's, 80's and 90's segment. Sarah was in the 80's segment. When the 90's came around, my little sister Audrey said "heym that's your era!" I just about died b/c while watching it I thought, how dumb was that decade! Although, they did play Nirvana and I must say I am still a fan! All the other decades had cool hair and clothes. The 90's segment was grune. You know, flannel shirts, ripped jeans, frizzy bleached u out hair. It was to funny. For the finale, they did "Thriller" and Bella just about couldn't stand it. She said she felt like she was going to throw up! The makeup was pretty realistic and she was just a tad bit scared. Wish I would have know about it ;)

Friday, we went to the zoo. I hate t adit it, but I don;t like the zoo. I guess b/c we go so much. The kids had a good time though and we took my friend Stephanie's little boy, Alex. They were all so good :) Sarah came along as well and brought "bambino" her dwarf bunny. It was fun until Bambino was kicked out off the zoo and Sarah had to put him in my car. She promised to shampoo the carpets (ya right) if he did anything, but it's safe to say he is a very good little bunny and is trained well :) No accidents!

Well...Ro and I are off to Barnes and Noble for some goodies! Then to get groceries :)

Goodnight Sweet Girl...

As I leaned over to hug and kiss Bella good night tonight, she looks up at me and says "Mama...have sweet dreams about me and you and daddy and Jude having a group hug and flying on clouds that are made of ice cream cones and all kinds of junk food and yummy stuff."

My cup runneth over....

Priceless.

Busy week as usual! Last Friday night we kicked off the Fall season with a trip to the Tulsa State Fair with Papaw, Audrey, Charlie, Johnny and Grant. The boys spent mos of the night trying to win a guitar. My brother has an awesome guitar, but there is just something about winning a cheap guitar at the fair, right? At lest for a 13 year old boy. It was such a blast enjoying it through the kids eyes. They were a hoot! Bella decided she would start off riding the swing that spins around and my mama instincts kicked in. For a minute I thought this might make her sick. Then I thought, no she has a stomach of steal like Tristan. Well...I should have trusted my instincts the first time. After about one spin around she was looking pretty green. I could see Tristan motioning to her to throw up opposite of him! Fortunately, she didn;t throw up, but spent a good hour riding in the umbrella stroller (which Jude is almost too big for mind you). I just wanted to tell people who were staring "Yes, yes, I know she is TOO big to be riding in a stroller, but...". Then I thought what am I talking about, they all have mullets anyways ;) LOL! So, she got over the dizziness, but refused to ride rides. Well, we did slide down the wave slide with the potato sacks. Here I am in the middle of the two of them. We flew down the slide, Bella on my right looking like a deer in headlights, me in he middle hunched over laughing hysterically and Jude to my left grinning ear to ear. Poor B.

So,

4 tickets to the fair free
4 rides $15
3 corn dogs $15
1 funnel cake $5
1 sweet tea $4
1 Sprite $3
1 pretzel $4
2 ice creams $8
1 bag cotton candy $5
animal feed $2
1 game $3
1 Dora $8
1 Spiderman $8
2 Pony Rides $10

Memories Made Priceless!

So, Saturday morning our feet hurt and everyone was plum tuckered out. Tristan got up early to take mum to the airport. she was so cute upon arriving to the house. she is an ever so proper British ex Nanny and she shows up (always dressed so pretty) with Poppa's little pomeranian puppy in a rolling suitcase dog kennel. It was so her! The kids got a kick out of it ;) So now Nana and Poppa are officially moved and in Massechsettes. Bella has cried alot lately b/c she misses them, but Nana will be back in December. We sent her car off in style yesterday while Jude and his cousin Braden anxiously watched out the window. They didn't understand why nana's car was on top of a big truck and they were concerned, but I think they got it. They waved good bye all the while sweetly saying "bye nana's car" watching the big truck drive away with it down 36th street. Donna and I jokingly said we should stow the boys in the back seat. What a surprise nana and poppa would get! I don't think we would see them again b/c they would NOT send them back ;) Well...my fair pics didn't fair well so I will post a video instead. Enjoy :) This is Braden and Jude at the park on Wednesday.
