Some beats.

Listening to this right now while cleaning out the kitchen drawers, literally dancing eating a piece of cold leftover g-free homemade pizza.  Life is good :)

Sir Paul

So, I got a phone call from my dad Monday. He had 2 extra tickets to see Paul McCartney that night so of course we frantically found someone (thanks Eric) to watch the kids and went. All I can say is AMAZING! Our seats were awesome and Paul was even better. That's all I'm gonna say about that :) Thanks dad!

Of course my faves were "Hey Jude" and "A Day In the Life" and "Give Peace a Chance".
During Hey Jude, he had the men only sing the "na na na" and then the women. It's in the bottom video (it's pretty shaky, I got it from you tube). Pretty cool! Jude watched it just now and said "Momma, do they know me?"



This is "A Day in the Life" taken from the Fenway Park concert, but he did the same at our show :) The Tulsa show was the only arena venue (the smallest) which is really cool!

Nervous Tick Motion...

I just wanted to post this video of Andrew Bird. The photography on his site is amazing. We were so fortunate to go to his show Tuesday night at the Cain's with our friends Jeremy, Lacy and Eric. Oh, and my sisters came and Audrey ended up hanging out with us old fogies all night. Pretty cool if you ask me ;) Of course her friends weren't there :) I can honestly say that it was the best concert I have EVER been to. He is truly an amazing performer and so original. The crowd however was a little too tame for me :) After all, music=dance and no one, I mean no one was dancing. I tried to politely squeeze through the crowd to get a glimpse of the talent and was scoffed at. Audrey and I quickly made our way to the back, but that's OK ;) Sarah got some great photos and video but I don't have them yet to post.

We were supposed to see these guys (I'll just watch this and pretend I was there) in Memphis tommorow. Unfortunately we forgot we had tickets to this so that is where we'll be, it's bitter sweet really. Watching the kids faces light up is worth it ;)

We did get tickets to see this guy in March! We almost went to Chicago to see him last year...good thing we waited b/c he's coming to T-Town. Iy would have been nice to visit our other home though, get some Giordano's pizza, walk to the grocery store in 4 feet of snow and then up 3 flights of stares to our apartment...nah...the pizza would be good though.

I ran across this picture today and ran a vintage action on it in photo shop. I like it, actually I love it b/c it looks old.
