Busy as a bee.

So much has been going on these last few weeks. Bella started Kindergarten which was one of the hardest days of my life. Of course she loves it so that makes it better. Jude is finally potty trained at one week from being 3. I guess boys take longer b/c Bella was 2. I'm proud of him though b/c we just went with the flow and he basically did it when he was ready. No stress at all! We spent this weekend at my dad's and had a great time with family. Tristan and I took the quad out for a little while Saturday evening and found the prettiest view from the ridge. Unfortunately, I left my camera back at the house. We also saw tons of deer and it was so cool outside. I am ready for fall! Other than that we have just been busy with stuff. I will be busy painting rooms over the next few weeks and hopefully we'll set aside time for out annual family pics. Gotta love the tripod ;) Here are some recent shots of the kiddos.

Did I get your attention?

Sorry for the joke folks :) I didn't think anyone would believe that I was in Vogue ;) Tristan told me to keep it going, but now I feel bad. If you want to try go here. It is too much fun! Everyone have a great day. We're going to brave the 100 degree heat and go to Big Splash. The kids have been begging to go since I deprive them of our wonderful water park so I make the effort to go once a year. Maybe I'll have something to post later ;)

I wanted everyone to be surprised! I will be on the cover of next month's vogue. They sent me the mock up for the September issue and I took a photo of a friend of mine holding to share it!!!!! I submitted a story about being a stay at home mom with my own company with some of my images and they called 2 weeks ago to tell me I won!!! I'm so excited I can't stand it!!!! More info to come ;)

Sorry I have been MIA! I told myself I would blog even if I didn't have anything to blog about so that's what I am going to start doing :)

Last week we stayed busy completing the play room and moving things around a bit. For any of you that don't know, I am a chronic mover arounder of things. Isabella can vouch for that b/c her room has been moved around 5 times in the last year! She spent her first weekend away EVER this week. That's a big deal around here:) She left Thursday night to spend the weekend with Nana and Papa and some of that time with her cousin Stella. She's having a great time and is not ready to come home so I guess that's good although I miss her like crazy. She comes home today and we're all so excited to see her, especially RO. I must say however, as easy as Bella is, 1 child is so much easier! I guess this was a little preview of what school will be like this year and now I know we can all handle being away from each other ;)

Jude spent the evening with Uncle Rob and Aunt Celeste (aint Rob & Ant Lest). He had so much fun, but I think Aun Lest had a little more fun. It gave her an excuse to play in the sprinklers!!! Speaking of Aunt Celeste, I have to say how proud we are of her. She is an extraordinary artist and was recently asked to donate her "Daffodil" painting to the Marie Curie Breast Cancer auction that was I think run by the Royal Academy. She showed me the catalogue with her painting and it gave me chills to see that she was recognized by royalty!!! She's awesome! Her blog is listed to the right so checkit out. By the way, there were very few artist selected for this honor.

So, I'm looking forward to getting my little muse back today and enjoying this last week of summer break with her. We're going to make it extra special!
