Baby it's cold outside!

70 degrees yesterday and 13 degrees today, well that's Oklahoma for ya! It would have been nice to at least get snow so the kids could go out and play, but no, we get ice here which always means no school. We decided to stay in today and not brave the cold. I think living in Chicago burned me out on getting "bundled up" just to get out and about :)

It ended up being a good day, even without the snow. We stayed in our pj's all day and the kiddos went to bed in them again.

They watched TV together...


We had a candle lit lunch...


They played Candy Land...


And napped...


And READ...


And then we made paper snowflakes with glitter, enjoyed a big old pot of tortilla soup together and played hide and seek before settling into bed.

I love days like these...even without the snow...
